Part funding for Community Pitch and Floodlight Upgrade

Located beside Rugby Park, The Killie Community Pitch is a high-quality 3G facility offering a unique opportunity to play in a truly special setting at the heart of the club.

The pitch is used daily by:

  • The Killie Community programmes (all ages)

  • Local schools, including ASN provision

  • Grassroots football activity

  • Kilmarnock FC supporters

  • Kilmarnock FC Academy (off-peak access)

The Killie Community pitch was made possible in part thanks to £50,000 in funding provided by members of The Killie Trust alongside Kilmarnock FC, Scottish FA, UK Government (DCMS) and EAC Pride in Place.

Part of the funding provided by The Killie Trust and other partners was used enabled the upgrading of the lighting used for matches at Rugby Park.

Changing from halogen lights to fully LED lights enabled improved lighting at a lower cost, as well as the popular "Disco Lights" when Killie secure a victory under the lights.
